I've been in a very theological mood this week, I hope you guys aren't getting annoyed with these posts but then again, it is my website and none of you other kids are posting anything!

Purpose

I've been thinking a lot about purpose latley. What is my purpose? Right now, I'm not exactly sure, I know I have one and I'm hoping someday I'll figure it out and my life will be filled with some greater good to accomplish with all sorts of fun and adventure and craziness! Some people think they have no purpose. I don't think this can be true. Everything has a purpose, or maybe we should say everything can be used for a purpose. I exist, what is my purpose? Well right now I think it's to love God with my own free will and to be obedient to Him until he shows me His ultimate goal for my life. That must be true. The thing that really confuses me is the people who don't believe in God. Those people that believe life is a cosmic accident, that by some random chance, life was spawned out of a situation where basic earthly and natural laws didn't exist so that spontaneous generation could occur and nature could break the laws of thermal dynamics to form a tiny molecule that eventually would evolve into a mind. A mind capable of thinking and imagining and... dreaming.

What is the use of such a mind if it doesn't serve a purpose? I'm trying to think of one thing in life that doesn't serve a purpose. I'm pretty sure we can argue that everything created by man serves a purpose and that everything in nature serves a purpose. In fact, everything in nature needs to serve a purpose, otherwise life would not be possible. So here is a question to the athiest, to the agnostic, to the non-believer:

what is your purpose?
