There you are, about to sit down at one of the coolest places in town. You've got cash in your wallet, enough cologne to make CK 1 smell like febreeze, and a stomach ready to eat a full rack of ribs. You slide into the booth, your friends on the other side. You want to impress them tonight, you want to be cool for the first time in your life. You want respect. What is it that will make you look cool? Clothes? No. A big wad of cash? No. A nice haircut? Maybe, but not quite. You know what will make you look cool tonight, and you owe it all to saved by the bell. As you begin to sit, you remember the notes you took down on each characters sitting style. Man, they always looked so cool when they sat around the table at The Max. What is it tonight, Which one will make you look smooth, suave and sexy? You visualize each sitting position.

The A.C. Slater: The classic tough guy, too cool for school position, chair pulled up to the head of table, sitting in it backwards with arms crossed around the top end, and a smile showing your dimples.

The Screech: Not the one for you tonight, The screech is a firm, upright, loose position, with movement to any one who talks at the table and a goofy smile that makes you look like an idiot the whole time.

The Kelly Kapowski: For the ladies, this position involves the legs being crossed, elbow on the table with your hand curled to hold your chin, staring deeply at the boys across.

The Lisa Turtle: More of a fashion statement then a position. If you are gunning for this be sure to wear the brightest of clothes and a flashy hat, chew gum, legs will be crossed and body straight up, head should be tilted downward slightly as if you are looking down on others for not being as fashionable as you.

The Jessy Spano: This position is firm, tight and straight up. Pretend you just sat on a tac, and you'll pull off the Jessy Spano no problem. Legs can be crossed or uncrossed as long as body and head is straight and direct. Absolutley no slouching.

The Zach Morris: This is the one for you tonight. This position is relaxed, calm and cool. It involves a little slouch with the one arm down or on the table and the other around the top of the booth, like it's your girlfriend. Feet should be spread apart, but not too much. If a girl is sitting next to you its fine to have the arm up and around the top of the booth, be weary if it is a guy, as long as their is space and he is leaning forward it is still acceptable.

You pulled off The Zach Morris without a hitch. Your friends noticed something different about you tonight, something... cool.

And you my friend, owe it all to the sitting positions of your favorite high school tv show, Saved by the Bell.
