So the comments in my last article gave me an idea. Don't get me wrong, I'm not gay or anything... but hey sometimes a guy needs to be secure enough with his sexuality that he can do things that may seem awkward. For instance, as noted earlier, the other night I shared a shower with Jason Stephan. It wasn't gay or anything, his shower wasn't working properly and mine was nice and warm.. we had both just gotten out of the pool and were freezing.. I wasn't going to let my good friend stand out there in the cold while I get all warmed up so Jason came in. We both had our trunks on so nothing was flying around or anything. What I'm trying to say I guess, is that even though some things may SEEM gay, they aren't always that gay. Last year Chiloh introduced me to the wonderful world of man hugs. If any of you know Chiloh, you know he's a big cuddly teddy bear. I love hugging that man and well, I'm not ashamed of it. I think guys need to start accepting these things as 'not gay' without having to clarify it. I'm sick of hugging a boy and saying not gay after it. I should be able to show my affection for my friends with out disclaiming my sexuality. As funny as it sounds, taking a shower with Jason was probably not the gayest thing I've ever done either. Besides the fact that I listen to Avril Lavigne's cd just about every day, I've also done some things that may seem pretty not-straight. The most gay thing I've ever done was probably play the warm game with the Reynolds boys and Rob Nelson. Let me explain:

I was probably around 10 or 11 and was at my friends house. James Reynolds had just got a pool, so of course we were all taking advantage of it. The fact that it was freezing out didn't hinder us from enjoying our friend's new toy. We swam and swam and swam until our lips were blue and our appendages numb. When we finally decided to get out it was the coldest I had ever been in my life. Colder then the time I cleaned out the freezer at newicks in mid winter... Anyways, Rob, Nathan, James and I ran about shaking, trying desperatly to get warm with no success. So I think it was Nathan that suggested we all strip down and jump in the tub because, you know, that will warm us up. Hey, I'm 10... I don't care... I'm freezing..... I just want to get warm... so what the heck! We all strip down and hop in the tub. You might think 4 guys naked in a tub is pretty gay, but I'll tell you what, the only awkwardness I felt was because Nathan and Rob both had hair on their crotch and I didn't. Anyways, we turned on the water, only to be sprayed with more cold water. It turns out that the girls had the same idea in the other bathroom so there was no hot water left for us... Naked and freezing we jumped out and ran to Nathan's queen size bed where we piled on covers, comforters and sheets and tried desperatley to get warm. So there we were 4 guys in a queen sized bed naked, sharing covers; a ten year old, an eight year old and two 15 year olds... Someone came in the room and asked us what we were doing. Rob exclaimed "Don't come in, we're playing the warm game!" .....Thus the warm game. And to leave this open for discussion:

Whats the gayest thing you've ever done that was of course, really "not gay"?
