Friendship is probably the best thing about life. Nothing makes me more happy then being around a group of people who you can smile, laugh, and share memories with. Tonight was my last Friday night at JBC. I was surprised by my closest friends. Lindsey always rags on me for not spending enough time with her so we agreed to go out. When we got to the Great American Buffet, there in the back was the crew waiting for me to come and fellowship. They had dressed a chair up for me, in orange streamers and balloons of course. They gave me a binder, filled with pictures and inside jokes that will live in my memories forever, along with a card signed by all of them. Before the meal they asked me to pray. My prayer certainly wasn't worthy as I don't think I could ever thank God enough for placing me in the paths of these special people. I almost cried as I searched for words to thank God for my friends, their fellowship and their guidance. Luckily I restrained, otherwise the place would've turned into an emotional roller coaster. But now that I'm in my room alone, the tears are coming. It's friends like these that give me confidence to go on, because I know they will always be there to support me when I fall or to encourage me when I'm down or to share with my happiness. So to all my friends, thank you so much for a wonderful time here. I'll be back to visit, and hopefully you'll come to NH someday, its a cakewalk... really. I usually don't like to mention any names because I feel people who deserve to be put in will be left out and such.. but I think tonight names should be mentioned. First Lindsey. Lindsey was the mastermind behind all this. I'm sure she organized everyone and stressed out about it all week and all night.. so much so that she stood me up for breakfast this morning ;) I've been pretty hostile towards girls latley, but as I look at her I'm filled with hope that there are some more like her out there. I'm in awe to see that someone can be filled with so much love and compassion and joy... it restores my faith to see someone who covers the warmth of Christ around everyone she knows it's amazing how deep our friendship has gotten in such a short time. Now to my crew. Fehl, Hasler, Martin, Chiloh, Kitchen, Mark, Zuber, Jason, Casey and where would I be without my media buddy Travis? I don't think any words could possibly describe how thankful and appreciative I am of your help and support throughout this semester. So I'm going to leave it at a thanks. A thanks for always being there when I needed a laugh, a smile a memory.... or even a swift kick in the butt. You guys are the greatest.
