Adventures from Amish Farming Country:

So I made it safely to Grove City Sunday evening, and in record time too! (Cassie & Nick, your driving habits are rubbing off on me). It was a pretty uneventful trip. Skippy the fish rode shotgun in a clear tupperware container and Jay and Cassie both called to say hi and rescue me from boredom. I moved in Sunday and Emily came Monday afternoon. And that's when the craziness began...
So our campus network got that big virus that's screwing up our country and I wasn't allowed to turn on my computer until I downloaded an anti-virus patch from a CD. And no one had the CD. So finally I tracked that down and turned on my computer...either Sunday night or Monday morning. But that didn't really matter much because by Monday afternoon, the whole network was shut down. Apparently they thought it'd be better to just disconnect us from the real world until they had verified that every single person had downloaded the patch. So over two days later I finally have the internet back. And it really sucks cause this week is the only week I have a quality amount of time to spend on the internet. At least my computer wasn't fried by lightning like 100 girls in another dorm. We've had at least 4 severe thunderstorms in the 3 days that I've been here. All this adventure and it's only the first day of classes! How was everyone else's first day of school?
