The life of a video gamer is similiar to that of a vampire. All it takes to start living this way is to become initiated by someone already in the lifestyle. Then the subject goes through a metamorphosis from a normal human being to a creature set apart from humankind, a mere shadow of its former self. In order to survive the subject needs to live off of the fresh nectar known as Mountain Dew and hunt down its victims in the cover of darkness every night. The creature's former self lives only in memories. The creature must turn its back forever on the world it once knew and loved, for all eternity. The happy memories of daylight and its former life slowly fade into the dark and dreary night of the creature's lair, only illuminated by the glow of a lone computer monitor. Normal humans fear the video gamers, but could never imagine the true| value and happiness in the seemingly lonely world. If they only knew...
