Top Ten Signs You're Addicted to AIM
(in no particular order because I'm too lazy to make up an order)
*your online time is counting in days, not hours or minutes
*you have more than 3 screen names at any given time
*you have over 8 away messages stored
*every away message is in a different color scheme
*your away messages include a variety of topics such as sleeping, taking a shower, eating, and "I'm too lazy to respond, so leave a message"
*you say "lol" instead of laughing in an actual conversation
*people begin to call/email you to make sure you're okay if you're not online
*you can name a person's buddy icon faster than you could describe what they look like
*you use IM slang in your writing (including lol, n/m, n/p, g2g, brb, and sideways smiley faces)
*you IM your friend even though he/she is sitting next to you
