I teach the Jr high class at church now and for a month the 1st-4th graders during worship. I've been thinking alot about this latley. When I was in 4th grade I used to look up to the high schoolers and college kids. I always thought they were so cool because they could do so much stuff. People like Nate Reynolds, Rob Nelson, and Brian Billadeau come to mind. I was wondering if the boys in my classes look up to me like I did to Nathan. And then it hit me. I sure hope not. I'm an 18 year old kid with a dead end job, I barley graduated high school and college seems a far way off for me. I'm not a role model for these kids. Whose bright idea was it to put me in a position of leadership?
