This is a conversation that happened on Saturday night at work between one of the shyest guys I know Joe, and a new girl that everyone thinks is cute:

Joe: So do you go to school?

Katie: I'm getting my GED actually...

Darrell: ...don't feel bad I failed Sr. English.

Joe: Oh.

Katie: yeah.. I had bad grades and got in trouble a lot so uh..yeah..

(awkward silence)

Joe: I had a car once....it broke down after 2 miles, had to get it towed back to my house...

Katie: Heh.

Darrell: Haha that sucks.

Joe: So do you like to party?

Katie: Yep

(awkward silence) (Darrell sips his soda)

Joe: ....do you have a boyfriend?

Katie:....nope....

(awkward silence)

Katie:.....do you have a girlfriend?

Joe: Nope.

Katie.....do you want one? (she giggles)

Joe: yeaaah!

(They exchange phone numbers)

Now what is up with this? I didn't think it was that easy? is it? please tell me is it that easy?
