I was home alone with nothing really to do, so I decided to go on my computer. Everything was fine, until I heard this strange tapping noise. I turned around to look out the window, expecting to see a strange man peering in with sinister eyes. There was no one there, but the tree branches outside the window were shaking as if someone had just moved them. I walked over to the window to investigate, and I felt like one of those dumb girls in the horror movies...you know, everyone in the theater is screaming for her not to go to the window, but she does anyway. I looked left and right and under the window, but saw nothing, so I went back to my computer and began to type again. A few minutes later the tapping started again. It wasn't a consistent tapping, but more like a brief thud every 30 seconds or so. And I knew that it was coming from the window behind me. Slowly I began to turn my chair around.........
