I Like to call this article

Why I think pretty much everyone is going to hell.

First off this is probably going to get pretty lengthy, but it's needed to fully explain my thoughts and experiences.

Second, in no way is this article meant to pursuade you, make you feel convicted or make you feel like a bad person. It's simply here to explain the title, why I think everyone is going to hell. You might think that this is a little harsh, but if you read on I think you'll see at least some logic in my opinions and beliefs.

The main reason I am writing this is not because I want you to believe in God (which I do) It's not because I want you to go to hell (which I don't) It's not because I want to debate wether or not youre a good person (which frankly, I don't really care about) It's simply because every single time I enter a discussion about my beliefs and theology with another person they ask me the same question. "Do you think I am going to hell?"

So from now on everytime I start discussing theology with someone, and they ask me this question, I'm going to ask them for their email address and I will send them this article.

So do I think youre going to hell?

Yes.

Now to some that may seem harsh, rude and painfull. However, before you take that the wrong way, let's take a look at what you may believe. If You're an athiest (absolutley sure there is no God) then you don't believe in God, heaven or hell, so there was really no need to ask me that question or care about the response in the first place. If you believe in evolution then we were spawned by random chance and the same thing implies, the question is irrelevant because according to your beliefs there is no heaven or hell. So then there is no need to get defensive if I tell you I think you're going to hell, is there?

Things get a little more complicated when the agnostic asks that question. An agnostic is defined as One who believes that it is impossible to know whether there is a God. (thank you dictionary.com) In short, an athiest says 'I know there is no God' an agonstic says 'I don't know wether or not there is a God'

There are two different types of agnostics, the ornery and the ordinary*. The ordinary says he doesn't know anything for sure. Implying that maybe someday he will or he can learn. Where as the ornery says he can't know anything for sure... Well does anyone see a problem with the ornery agnostic? I do. His claim that he can't know anything for sure is self-defeating. How can you be sure that you can't know anything for sure? Do you know that for sure? How can you? It goes against your beliefs, doesn't it? Hopefully you'll understand this, if I continue I'll just be going in circles.

So here we go. if you've determined that your not an athiest, evolutionist or ornery agonstic, you can continue to read on to find out why I think you're going to hell. If you are any of the above listed, then there is no point in reading further because either hell doesn't exist, or you're not sure if anything really exists anyways. So again we see no reason to take defense against my belief that you're going to hell.

Now to the ordinary agnostic who should be the only one reading this article right now.

There are some things that can be known for sure. We call those absolutes. For instance, we know for sure that the earth is round. If you're a skeptic of the existance of earth then you've read too far I apologize, you have permission to stop reading now. If you're sure that the earth is round, please continue. If you believe that the earth is flat, well you're wrong. Does anyone see what I'm getting at here? Truth exists. When we discover what things are true, then the oppositte of that must be false. correct? So if the earth is round, then it cannot be flat. If you agree, read on. Disagree, then the question 'Do I think you're going to hell?' has no true answer, so you can stop reading.

I think most of you are starting to see what I'm getting at by this point. Since truth exists, and the oppositte of what is true is false, then God either exists or doesn't exist. Hell either exists or doesn't exist. There is no in-between. My belief that you're going to hell is either right or it is wrong. If you believe that my belief is wrong, then you're not going to hell. So again, no need to take offense to my response to your question and you can stop reading now. So now i'm sure the last few people reading this are asking 'Well how are you positive God exists' (the debate of how i can be sure what religion is right will probably be saved for discussions in the comment)

Now since I believe God exists, I should have evidence to back it up. And the same goes for an Athiest. If he believes God doesn't exist, he should have reason to do so... now simply put, I've compared, read, studied and asked multitudes of questions on the existance of God. I believe that there is more evidence pointing to a creator then to nothing at all. I will list some of the most convincing things, for me anyways, here so that you can understand I'm not just going on a whim

1.) Either someone created someting out of nothing or no one created something out of nothing.

2.) The simplest life form contains the information equivalent of 1,000 encyclopedias. Athiests believe nonintelligent natural forces spawned this randomly.

3.) Hundreds of years beforehand, ancient writings foretold the coming of a man who would actually be God. This man-God, it was foretold, would be born in a particular city of a particular bloodline, suffer in a particular way, die at a particular time and rise from the dead to atone for the sins of the world. Multiple eyewitnesses proclaimed this event and recorded it, they endured persecution and death when they could have saved themselves by denying these events, and this belief.*

Okay now we can look at #3. Hopefully you've all realized that the man being referred to is Jesus. In his teachings Jesus proclaimed that He is the way, the truth and the life, no one enters the kingdom of heaven except through Him. Now I really don't want to get into in-depth theology here, I'm already going to get a bunch of questions about the authenticity of the Bible and so forth.. thats going to be another article in itself, but remember I'm just telling you why I believe you're going to hell... So there it is, thats what Jesus said. Thats what I believe. You can question the existance of Jesus, but I assure you no man who has walked the earth has ever had as a profound effect as He did. His birth was recorded in a roman census and the evidence of his existance is overwhelming. So, there you have it. I hope you realize the only person that should take any form of offense or question this article is the person who believes in God who has not yet accepted Jesus.

If you're an athiest, evolutionist, skeptic, or disagree with my beliefs in any form, then please stop annoying me with that question, you have nothing to worry about. And please, please, please, PLEASE, before the flames carry on to the comments, refer to the first paragraph as to why I wrote this.
