My my my - it's been far too long. To be honest, I completely forgot this web site existed.
Ok, so lets get things back in gear with an exciting tale from my quest to find a job (which I recently did at burger king - celebrate with me)
So I go to fill out an application at taco bell, cuz they have a sign out fron that says theyre hiring. S I ask for an application, fill it out, etc etc. A week later I call to see if I can get an interview. after brief introductions this is the conversation that followed -
Manager: Ok, Whats ur name?
Me: Jay Chanoine, with a CH.
Manager: Jay...... With a CH!? (thus why she works at taco bell)
Me: No. Jay with a j-a-y, chanoine with a ch.
Manager: Oh ok, I found ya. . . you filled this application out like 5 months ago.
Me: No, I filled it out like a week ago.
Manager: Have u applied here before?
Me: Yeah.
Manager: Oh, ok, this must be that one then. Ill just throw it away. (As if my info would change much in 5 months) Ok, here we go. Wait, this one's from like 2 months ago.
Me: Yeah, Ive applied more than once.
Manager: Well, u only have to apply once. we keep em on file you know.
Me: Well, youve always told me you couldnt use me. I only assumed my applications would be just as little help.
Manager: I dont like ur attitude.
Me: I dont like ur 50 cent meat products.
